How to organize folders and files in groups
We often use different views such as details, icons, and thumbnails for viewing folders. However, it helps to see them organized in a better way. Let’s see how we can arrange the views better.
1. Go inside a folder with a lot of different types of files.
2. Click the View menu.
3. Select the Arrange Icons by option.
4. Click the Show in Groups option.

Voila! Your files and folders will arrange themselves neatly. Select the Details view to enjoy the arrangement in its most aesthetic mode.

How to keep the same view for all folders
It helps to have all the folders open in the same view. Let’s see how you can have the same view for all folders.
1. Arrange a folder’s view according to your preference.
2. Click the Tools menu.
3. Click the Folder Options option.
4. Click the View tab.
5. Click the Apply to All Folders button.
6. Click the Yes button.
7. Click the OK button.

You will not need to rearrange the view in other folders any longer.
